Cooking Directions


Prepare Marinade + Turkey

  • Turn oven on to 425°F.
  • In a medium bowl, mix together cornstarch, egg white, garlic, ginger, honey, soy blend, and half of the spice blend.
  • Drain sliced turkey and pat dry with paper towel.
  • Cut into 2 inch pieces.
  • Add turkey into marinade and set aside.

Cook Rice

  • Rinse and drain jasmine rice in a fine mesh sieve.
  • Add rice to a small pot with 1 ¼ cups salted water and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat to low and cover with a lid.
  • Cook for 15–18 minutes or until grains are tender.
  • Once cooked, fluff rice with a fork and mix in seasoned rice vinegar.

Prepare Ingredients

  • Wash cutting board and knife with warm soapy water.
  • Wash broccoli, bell peppers, and green onion.
  • Cut broccoli florets into roughly 1 inch pieces.
  • Halve bell peppers, remove stem and seeds and cut into ½ inch strips.
  • Thinly slice green onion.
  • Peel and slice shallot into ⅛ inch slices.

Roast Broccoli

  • Line a baking sheet with foil.
  • Place broccoli on baking sheet and toss with 1 ½ tbsp. olive oil, remaining spice blend, and season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Cook for 13–15 minutes, tossing halfway through, until crispy and tender.

Cook Turkey

  • Heat 2 tbsp. olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Once hot, add turkey, setting marinade aside, and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Add shallot and bell peppers cook for another 2–3 minutes or until becoming tender.
  • Turn heat to medium and add marinade to the skillet.
  • Cook for 30 seconds to 1 minute, or until sauce has thickened and turkey is cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F.

Plate + Serve

  • Divide rice onto large plates.
  • Top rice with honey garlic turkey with broccoli on the side.
  • Garnish everything with green onions.
  • Enjoy!
