Cooking Directions


Cook Sausage
- Heat 1 tbsp. olive oil over medium heat.
- Drain Italian sausage and pat dry with a paper towel.
- Place sausage in skillet and sprinkle with spice blend.
- Cook sausagefor 6-8 minutes, breaking apart with a wooden spoon, until well browned and crispy.
- Remove from skillet and reserve on a plate.


Quick Pickle Onions
- Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine sliced red onion and red wine vinegar.
- Season with a pinch of salt and toss to coat onions in vinegar.
- Set aside until ready to serve.
- In a second small bowl, combine Dijon mustard and grainy mustard.


Prepare Brussels Sprouts
- Wash Brussels sprouts.
- Trim stems and cut Brussels sprouts into quarters.
- Add 2 tbsp. olive oil to skillet from step 1 and place back over medium heat.
- Add Brussels sprouts and sweet potatoes to skillet.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook for 12-15 minutes, tossing frequently, until vegetables are tender and well browned.


Finish Skillet
- Once vegetables are tender, add cooked sausage back to skillet along with garlic and red pepper flakes to taste.
- Stir to combine and cook for 1 minute, or until garlic is fragrant.
- Add quick pickled onions, walnuts and cranberries and remove from heat.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.


Plate + Serve
- Divide skillet contents onto dinner plates.
- Serve alongside a dollop of mustard.
- Enjoy!
